Three secret ingredients one must carry while travelling in High Altitudes

It's been a long time since we went out of our houses except for purchasing the essentials required and for emergencies. I know it feels boring! Many of us even cancelled our trips and missed occasions that were supposed to be on our list this year. Nevertheless, the situations are likely to get stabilised as a preventive measure are being taken nowadays. Starting from sanitising our hands, wearing masks, using cleaners for the respective essentials to maintain sanity and hygiene in all the works we are upto. Meanwhile, this has helped us to learn to take care of ourselves and our loved ones at the same time. However, as the travelling has started to resume on a gradual basis I would like to share about three secret natural ingredients, which will help you in high altitudes especially during trekking.

The first ingredient is honey. Yes, Honey! don't be astonished in hearing this that it helps in maintaining a proper balance for controlling blood sugar levels. The other benefits include healing of the wounds due to its antibacterial properties. Along with this, the presence of a unique pH balance promoted the blood flow leading to rapid healing of the wounds. Not only this, honey has been used by the practitioners for helping individuals with both external as well as, internal applications for treating asthma, vomiting, diarrhoea and infestation.

The second secret ingredient is Black Pepper. Black pepper is another natural ingredient that helps in improving the metabolic rate at high altitudes. This helps in lowering cholesterol levels and balancing sugar levels. Hence, this is another essential ingredient that should be packed while setting out on a trip for high altitudes. However, it should be noted that consumption of black pepper need not to be done on regular basis but can be taken after a certain interval of time with food such as bread, toasts, preparations of salads and eggs.

Last but not the least, the third secret ingredient that I will share with you is Clove. Clove is one of the essential natural ingredients which helps in dealing with altitude sickness or Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). This is one of the common problems encountered by an individual which leads to cause dizziness, shortness of breath, drowsiness and headache. Thus, keeping one or two cloves inside the mouth will be helpful rather than taking medicines for staying well and avoiding side effects (in the least cases) during the travel. Clove help in digestion and is rich high in antioxidants hence is capable of improving bone health.

To sum up, I will say that along with continuous hydrating oneself, consumption of these three secret ingredients from time to time basis will be beneficial for avoiding problems while travelling in high altitudes. Provided it is also important to keep in mind for having proper diets and taking care of yourself during travelling will help in completing the trips without any worries. I hope, you all enjoy reading and have a safe trip. Feel free to share your opinions in the comment section below.
